Our stack, and where we are opinionated
The default is Next.js and React on the front, Django and Python for anything data-heavy or admin-heavy on the back, and PostgreSQL as the database. Where a team already lives in JavaScript, we build the backend in Node instead. For mobile, we use Flutter so one codebase covers iOS and Android. We can also add AI features such as chat assistants or extraction pipelines when they solve a real problem rather than being decoration. We are opinionated about a few things that save you money later: typed boundaries between frontend and backend, database migrations kept in version control, and business logic that lives on the server instead of leaking into the browser. We are honest about the opposite too. If a technology you have in mind is the wrong fit, or a feature is not worth its cost yet, we will say so before you commit budget to it.
When to hire full-stack versus a specialist
A full-stack developer is the right hire for an MVP, an internal tool, a new feature on an existing app, or a small team where one clear owner cuts down on coordination overhead. In those cases the breadth is the point: fewer people, fewer handoffs, faster feedback loops, and one person who can debug an issue no matter which layer it started in.
